An introduction to the importance of a dummy to refining one's manuscript and as an aid to the illustrator.
Attendees will learn the basic elements of what makes a good picture book layout and create an actual dummy (rough mock-up) of their story. You do not need to be an artist to create a dummy! Having a completed picture book manuscript is required. Space is limited. Please register all who will be attending.
**Attendees are asked to bring 2 copies of their finished manuscript (MS), one for cutting up and one to refer back to. The MS should be printed on letter paper, one side only, double spaced, one in 12 point and one in 10 point Times/Times New Roman or Helvetica.
