Interested in learning about computer science and joining a group of supportive peers? Then The Girls Who Code Club is for you!
Club members will read excerpts from Learn to Code and Change the World, practice new skills by completing fun and simple coding tutorials, and build community through interactive activities. Our club, open to any children in 3rd-5th grade, helps build the foundational skills and understanding of computer science concepts through reading, discussion and coding activities.
**This is a 10-part series program that builds off of the information from the prior week. Registration for the entire series in required. Please register everyone in your group who will be participating.
The Southwest Branch is located in Stewartsville off of Rte. 519. The branch features a public meeting room, teen space, children’s area, Maker Space, and public computers.
