Ever wonder what's going through a service dog's mind when you see one out in public? Ages 10 and up. Click for more details about this important program.
This program takes you inside the life (and mind) of a working dog?what they do, what they need from the public, and why some ?helpful? gestures can actually cause harm. You?ll also learn the difference between service dogs, therapy dogs, and emotional-support animals, and the laws (briefly) that protect access for people with disabilities. Featuring Quinton, a real service dog, this session will leave you with practical takeaways (and a few good stories). For adults and teens, kids over 10 registration required.
