This evening book group meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6pm for a discussion of one of the classics. Open to adults only. Registration for a 6-month session required. Click for more info.
Do you have a list of classics you "always meant to read"? Join us to discuss the great works while sipping tea like true ladies and gentlemen. Light refreshments will be provided. Books for the first month will be put on the Holds Shelf for registered participants. Books will then be distributed at each meeting for the next month’s discussion. If you miss the meeting, the book will be put on the Holds Shelf for you.
In this 6-month session (April – September 2026), we’ll be reading and discussing the following books:
Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Brontë
Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier
Wide Sargasso Sea, by Jean Rhys
Their Eyes Were Watching God, by Zora Neale Hurston
