Join us at the gazebo for the first of our concert series as we celebrate the music & legacy of the one & only Man In Black, Johnny Cash. Bring a blanket or chair, please register. Click for details.
Scott Moreau recounts anecdotes from Cash's nearly 50 years in the music industry, telling the tales of his many famous friends, collaborators and songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and of course his long time wife and partner, June Carter Cash. Scott's rumbling bass voice brings life to Johnny's most beloved songs from Ring Of Fire to A Boy Named Sue, Folsom Prison Blues, I Walk The Line and many more.
Scott has been traveling the world performing as Johnny Cash for 15 years. Using anecdotes from his autobiography, multiple interviews, and live concerts, he tells Johnny's story with Johnny's own words and songs. Featuring more than 20 songs from Johnny's 40+ year career, Scott creates a stripped down look into the life and times of this American icon and the album he never got the chance to make: Late And Alone.
Performance will be moved indoors if weather is inclement. Registration required.
This first concert in our series is sponsored by the Catherine Dickson Hofman Library Association, the Warren County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, and the NJ State Council on the Arts.
