Complete a hands-on obstacle course pitting Simple Machines against brute force! Learn to work smarter, not harder, using mechanical advantage. For ages 8-18.

See how a lever, inclined plane, pulley, wheel and axle, screw, and wedge can enable you to do tasks that would be impossible on your own. You'll learn that there is no such thing as free lunch; when the force goes down, the distance you need to apply force goes up. Presented by Dr. George Fischer.
