Award-winning cartoonist Mike Dawson (The Fifth Quarter, The Hidden Dominion of Geordie James) presents an interactive comics making workshop. Ages 8-12, registration required. Click for more details.

Participants learn about telling stories using pictures, and create improvised cartoon stories. Children will learn about self-publishing their work, and assemble their own miniature ‘zines to take home with them! This program is for ages 8 to 12.

The Catherine Dickson Hofman Branch is located in Blairstown on Lambert Rd. off of Rte. 94. The branch offers a children’s area, public computers, and a large public meeting room.
