Blast off on a musical adventure through the Universe of Sounds! Join Mr. Boom Boom of Play Patrol for mind-bending demonstrations & hands on fun! Ages 3 and up, register all children. Click for info.

This exciting, hands-on program introduces children to the fascinating world of electronic instruments like the mysterious theremin, the funky voice box, and other unique sound-making machines. Along the way, kids will explore the STEM principles behind the music—learning how electricity, magnetism, and sound waves work together to create unusual tones and effects. They’ll discover how pitch changes with frequency, how vibrations travel, and how circuits bring these instruments to life.

Children will have opportunities to experiment with the instruments themselves, adjusting controls, creating sound patterns, and making their own cosmic compositions.
